Conversations On and Off The Table: A Dine With Dez Reflection on 2025 — and the Intentions We’re Carrying Into 2026
From Innovation to Inspiration: The Tables We’ve Set in 2025

Hi Dine With Dez Family
As we reminisce on 2025 and step into a brand new year, we’re taking a moment to reflect on how far we’ve come — and where our conversations are headed next. This past year stretched us, inspired us, and reminded us exactly why we started this journey in the first place: to create spaces where conversation, culture, and cuisine can truly connect worlds.
From intimate tables in New York to rooftops in Los Angeles and desert sunsets in Mexico, 2025 was a year of expansion, intention, and powerful community. And every seat was filled with people who made the moments matter. We became even more intentional about the details — the lighting, the menus, the flow of conversation, and the energy in the room. Because we believe that when you walk into a Dine With Dez experience, you’re stepping into a moment designed to slow time, spark dialogue, and leave you feeling seen.
At the heart of everything we do is the core belief that gathering is powerful. That sharing these intimate moments can open doors, heal wounds, and spark collaborations that ripple far beyond expectations. And that belief is exactly what we’re carrying into 2026 — just with even more honesty, clarity and rebellion against settling for anything less than what we deserve!
To our partners, chefs, creatives, sponsors, photographers, venues, and every single guest who trusted us with their time — thank you. You are the reason this community continues to grow, evolve, and thrive.
And to our day-ones and new family members alike: you will always have a seat at our table.
With love,
Desmond & Ramses
#001: Let's Talk About It… Dry January!
“No, I don’t want a f*cking drink.”
Yeah. We said it.
January always comes in hot with the pressure of that “new year, new me,” mentality, unrealistic expectations, and that annual ritual of trying to quit the very habits that helped us survive the last twelve months. The girl at the bar gripping her lime and soda like it’s a lifeline? In 2026… that girl might be us too.
This year is about recalibrating. About reclaiming control. About learning how to exist in social spaces — dinners, parties, open bars, Thirsty Thursdays — with a clear mind and the same confidence, connection, and joy. For many of us, nightlife and social culture are deeply intertwined with who we are and what we do. When you remove the cocktail, it can feel like you’ve removed your armor. Suddenly you’re hyper-aware, overthinking every word, every laugh, every moment of silence. Vulnerable in a way that feels unfamiliar.
But vulnerability is where the real connection lives.
So in true Dine With Dez fashion, instead of avoiding the conversation, we’re bringing it straight to the table. In 2026, we encourage you all to explore space for wellness-forward experiences, sober-curious culture, and honest dialogue about what it means to show up as yourself — whether there’s a drink in your hand or not.
Because the community doesn’t require cocktails.
Connection doesn’t require intoxication.
And the vibes? Will always be very much intact.
THE SPOT OF THE MONTH: Silence Please (132 Bowery Floor 2, New York, NY 10013)
Recently, there’s one spot that we’ve stumbled upon that consumed our mind, body and spirit. Located in Manhattan's Bowery neighborhood, the Silence Please space spreads out over one, long loft, with its showroom and seating area at the front, a record shop called Duty Free Records and a tea room towards the back. This is the perfect ambiance to relax, kickback, & spend some time connecting to yourself or with others. A full N/A establishment meant for pure connection and the perfect to still have a vibey, dry January type of night! But, don’t take our word of it go check it out yourself and let us know what you think! #THISISNOTANAD

About
“Dine With Dez”, is conceptualized by Desmond Sam an experiential event producer, publicist, and entrepreneur from NYC with co-producer-partnership and experiential creative, Ramses Rubio. This collaboration began simply as an idea to elevate how we experience each other. We’ve noticed that it wasn’t nightlife as in clubs or parties that stimulated us in comparison to breaking bread with like-minded creatives. As we start with these intimate installments we will continue to build our community and broaden the conversations needed for a brighter tomorrow!
